Water Street Writers' Group
Professional Writing Program
about us
Water Street Writers' Group is a new authors' seminar dedicated to taking creative talent to a publishable level. The WSWG team cultivates a professional-level suite of storytelling skills, dynamic style, and the polished presentational attitude that wins in the literary marketplace.
The WSWG team consists of John and Natalie Bates, associated writers and editors, publishing industry consultants and guest speakers.
about the program

"I believe the first draft of a book , even a long one, should take no more than three months. Any longer and (for me, at least) the story begins to take on an odd foreign feel, like a dispatch from the Romanian Department of Public Affairs, or something broadcast on high-band shortwave during a period of severe sunspot activity."

                  --On Writing, Stephen King
